4th September: SCVAC Regional Finals

Amazing performances from the Tonbridge athletes saw the Club take both men's and women's regional titles at Ashford on Sunday. Team spirit, management and organisation and individual commitment all contributed to the results.

29th August: SCVAC Regional Finals and Twilight Meeting

22nd August: Southern Athletics League

Last Saturday provided an exciting finish to the Southern League season as TAC won the final match beating the league winners Eastbourne and with other results favouring TAC we finished in the second position securing promotion. Liz Weeks was first lady in the Mount Ephraim 10K Road race in Faversham 40:45. Click to read the update

15th August: BMAF British Championships Birmingham

Ben Reynolds reports on his Gold medal performance at the BMAF track champs in the soon to be demolished Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. There was also silver for Sue James in the W65 1500m. Click to read the update

8th August: East Peckham 10K

Claire Day was first female and of course more importantly 1st TAC Vet! She survived the last 3km better than most as she ran a PB of 39:04. The TAC women won the team event as Nichola Evans was 2nd female and Antonia Skerritt was 4th female.

17th July: Bedgebury, Sevenoaks, Staplehurst, BMC Walk

Grazia Manzotti is now the second highest W50 from the BMC 3000M walk at Eltham. At Bedgebury, Penny Pilbeam was first woman, with Anthony Fullbrook second M50 and Mark Schofield first M55. Click to read the update

11th July: England Masters Inter Area Challenge

Sue James took part at the above outdoor event in Coventry, contributing to the SCVAC 3rd place with fifth places in the 1500m and 800m. Elise Rendall was first W40 to win the British Masters Multi terrain 30km championships in Gravesend.

24th June: SCVAC Ashford

Our Men's and Women's teams took a significant step towards getting their hands on the SCVAC Kent Vets League trophies at Ashford, both teams will be at the area finals on 1st September also at Ashford. 6th June: SCVAC Vets League Tonbridge

TAC were able to make home advantage pay off to win both Men's and Women's division 1 as the Women's B team were back to second in the Division 2. Highlights of the evening were the Women's throwers for whom the effect of Charlotte Nicholls coaching (new throws coach) made an immediate impact, Click to read the update

23rd May: National Masters and Beckenham Relays

At Sutton Coldfield the W35 and M65 teams both delivered Bronze medals, and at Beckenham Liz weeks continued her run of podium finishes as she teamed up with Dan Bradley and Julian Rendall to be part of TAC mixed team that finished 2nd.

16th May: Darenth Valley, Minnis Bay and Ipswich

Liz Weeks was 1st Female with Nichola Evans finishing 5th at Darenth Valley over 10K, whilst the Minnis Bay 10K was won by Tina Oldershaw. Elle Baker was part of the silver medal TAC team at the prestigious Ipswich 5K.

4th April: World Masters Indoor Championships

TAC Masters were privileged to join 390 other athletes in the GB Masters team for the World Masters Athletics Championships Indoor held in the Medieval walled city of Torun in Poland. 25th April: Norman Fowler Memorial Meeting

This was a well attended event with many Vets taking home PBs and records. There were notable performances from Angie Crush with a PB in the Pole Vault, and many others plus a visitor's world record in the 1500m. 11th April: Half Marathons, Parkruns and City Sprints

Following on from the World Indoor champs the build up to the marathon season continued with local racing for TAC Vets and the benefits of the TAC training is clearly paying off with a number of massive PBs. 21st March: Thanet, Knole and Lee Valley Masters

Elise Rendall was first Lady at Thanet over 20 miles, whilst Claire Day rose to the challenge at the Knole Park 10K on Sunday and prevailed by 2 seconds over the next nearest. At the Kent Indoors Championships there were medals for Ian Crawley and Nina Ridge, Click to read the update

14th March: British Masters Indoor Championships

Alan Newman reports that numerous world records fell at the Lee Valley Stadium at the weekend. Results are also included from the Inter Counties XC, the BMAF Champs XC from Belfast, the Vitality Big Half and Lydd 20 miler.

28th February: National Cross Country Championships

This was a fabulous event with a great viewing course set in the grounds of Harewood House - a good number of TAC masters took part in both the race and celebrations after. 21st February: Indoor Championships and Half Marathon

Results from the Masters Indoor Championships, and the Metaswitch indoor open meetings held at Lee Valley. Masters also competed in the Tunbridge Wells half marathon, plus news ahead of the National Cross Country Championships.

17th January: Kent Cross Country Championships

3rd January: Lamberhurst 10K and 5K

A great TAC team ran the Lamberhurst 10k. The course was a tough 2 laps which provided plenty of opportunity to see team-mates encourage each other. Tina Oldershaw won the Ladies 10K race and Adam Roeder won the Men's 5K.
